System design to support my own learning

The main thing I learnt during my Bachelors with Gaia U, was that systems are essential to success and by paying attention and designing a model that could support my own learning, I could continue learning forever in an accelerated, effective way.

My masters is a clear way of 'stepping up' my own learning and pushing my strategic edges. Therefore designing a model to support this is crucial.

The below is an attempt to map my own learning systems. I have identified:

  • Inputs > of information, observations and so forth, that I need to process effectively to learn.
  • Outputs > how, following processing, this learning can be of service to the world
  • Information management needs > What systems do I need in place to manage this huge amount of diverse information
  • Elements needing tracking > what do I need to 'keep a tabs on' literally and practically. What if I track, will aid me in seeing patterns that can accelerate my own learning and understanding?
  • Integrating resilience > how to ensure this system is resilient e.g. if I am travelling, I become very busy, if my computer breaks and so forth.
  • Integrated time management > My tools & practices for managing my time effectively and in a healthy way
  • Meeting my learning needs > This is how to optimise my learning styles that I identified through my capstone year, how to create a supportive learning environment and how to optimise my support systems.
